Frank Johnson – Managing Director
Frank is the major shareholder and a founder member of Framgord in May 1986. Whilst having overall control of the company, his specialist interest has always been in product development, innovation, marketing and sales, upon which our viability depends.
Jocelyn Jewitt – Secretarial Administration
Jocelyn has been with Framgord for eleven years after enjoying a varied career, including several years in the Middle East, Italy and Switzerland. As well as her role as personal assistant to Frank Johnson, she also handles marketing where her linguistic skills are a huge asset.
Graeme Jackson – UK Sales Manager
After running his own business during the 80s, Graeme held foodservice senior management posts with Unilever, Danish Crown and Brake Bros. More recently, he headed up the sales teams with both Grants and St James in the smoked salmon sector of the industry, before joining Framgord in August 2005.
Denise McDougall – Accounts
Denise puts to good use her many accounting and administrative qualifications in running our very busy accounts department, together with the part time aid of her mother, Gina. Her eight years accountancy background, together with the experience gained in running her own small business, have amply provided her with the specific organisational skills vital to her profession.
Ulrike (Ricky) Pickering – European Sales
Ricky joined the company in October 2005. Her impressive German/English working background in a wide variety of administrative roles has equipped her admirably for her present job description. Her pivotal area of responsibility covers the management of UK and European whole fish sales as well as co-ordination and logistics of frozen product. Ricky’s quintessential calm efficiency is undoubtedly her overriding virtue demonstrated by the smooth running of her department.
Mark Mouat – USA and Global Sales
Mark has the enviable advantage of a wide experience in the fish processing industry and thus knowledgeable insight into the main facets of this realm. He has overall responsibility for the USA and foreign markets as well as always being on hand to give the benefit of his indepth knowledge on IT matters.
Christine Smith – Administration
Christine is a brilliant all-rounder. Apart from her own busy logistical duties she is able to fulfil those niches that daily arise within the realm of red tape and documentation for overseas orders as well as being the ‘Jill of all trades’ in standing in when colleagues are on holiday or necessarily absent from their desks. She has an eye for detail that surpasses the norm.
Rhona Johnstone – Quality Control/Technical Manager
Rhona is no newcomer to Framgord. After 11 years as technical manager for Farne Salmon & Trout, two years as factory manager for MacKnights Smoked Foods Inc. in Florida, including an interim spell globe trotting for Framgord, she has now returned to us full time in her specialised field.
Evette Walterson – Sales Assistant
Evette has been associated with the seafood industry from the age of 14. A holiday job resulted in her becoming a full-time filleter by the age of 16. She began working in white fish and subsequently switched to work with salmon, both fresh and smoked.
With another string to her bow, in the form of computing and administration qualifications, she had just the perfect combination of skills to slide effortlessly into her present role. She has now become an invaluable addition to the sales team.
Barbara Tschirnich – Marketing Assistant
Austrian by birth, Barbara comes to Framgord with a wealth of talents. With a Master of Arts degree in political science and Japanese studies from the university of Vienna she has, amongst other things, worked for the Austrian Press Agency’s Mediawatch, lived and studied for some considerable time in Hawaii and taught German to Japanese university students. She brings to Framgord a fresh and highly professional touch to its marketing department.
